"The Lord conducted the just through the right ways,
and showed him the Kingdom of God,
and gave him the knowledge of the holy things;
made him honourable in his labours,
and accomplished his labours.
In the deceit of them who overreached (defrauded and betrayed) him
He stood by him, and made him honourable.
He kept him safe from his enemies,
and He defended him from seducers
and gave him a strong conflict,
that he might overcome and know that wisdom is mightier than all.
She (Wisdom) forsook not the just when he was sold,
but delivered him from sinners;
she went down with him into the pit,
and in bands (chains) she left him not,
till she brought him the sceptre of the Kingdom,
and power against (over) those that oppressed him
and showed them to be liars that had accused him:
and the Lord our God gave him everlasting glory."
'People brought little children to him, for him to lay his hands on them and say a prayer. The disciples turned them away, but Jesus said, "Let the little children alone, and do not stop them from coming to me; for it is to such as these that the Kingdom of Heaven belongs." Then he laid his hands on them and departed.' (Matthew 19:13-15)
'...at that time, Jesus answered and said: "I praise Thee O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the (worldly) wise and prudent, and have revealed them to little ones. Yes, Father, for so it has seemed good in Your sight." (Matthew 11:25,26)
