Prophecies Fulfilled

A GOD PROPHECY

(God speaking to the Satanic Tempter - "He will send a Messiah-Redeemer.")

"I will put enmity between you (Satan) and the woman, (Mary) and between your seed (evil spirits) and her seed, (because she will be mother to the Messiah, Who would be miraculously conceived in her womb) she shall crush your head, and you will lie in wait for her heel." (Genesis 3:15)

PROPHECIES OF THE PROPHET DANIEL

(Who lived about 620 - 540 BC, re: the establishment of God's Kingdom in the world)

"The God of heaven will set up a Kingdom that shall never be destroyed, and His Kingdom shall not be delivered up to another people. (Not to Muslims or any other people) It shall break into pieces, (With its fragmentation into Protestant and other Bible-only Christian groups) but it shall finally consume all other kingdoms, and itself shall stand forever." (Daniel 2:44)

"The most high God has wrought signs and wonders to me. (Daniel) It has seemed good to me to publish His signs, because they are great: and His wonders, because they are mighty: His Kingdom shall be an everlasting kingdom, and His power to all generations." (Daniel 3:99)

"And, I blessed the Most High, and I praised and glorified Him Who lives forever:
for His power is an everlasting power, and His Kingdom is for all generations. (See Isaiah 57:15) And, all the inhabitants of the earth are as nothing before Him: for He does all according to His own will, as He does with His powers in heaven, so also does He do among the inhabitants of the earth: there is none who can resist His hand." (Daniel 3:31-32)

"And, I beheld in the vision of the night one like the son-of-man Who came with the clouds of heaven (the Messiah, Son of the Father) and He came to The Ancient of Days (the Father) and was presented before Him Who gave Him Power and Glory and a Kingdom: and all peoples, tribes and tongues shall serve Him: and His power is an everlasting power that shall not be taken away, and His Kingdom shall never be destroyed. And the Saints of the Most High God shall receive the Kingdom and they shall possess the Kingdom for ever and ever."(Daniel 7:13-14,18,27)

"And the Christ shall be slain: and those who deny Him shall not be His...And a people with their leader shall come...and after the war shall come the appointed desolation which shall continue even to the consummation, and to the end." (Daniel 11:26-27) (And this last may also be understood to refer to the 'end-time' wherein shall be seen the abomination of the Anti-Christ standing in the Holy Place where he has no right to be - Daniel 9:26-27; Matthew 24:15-16; Mark 13:14)

PROPHECIES OF THE PROPHET ISAIAH

(Who lived 740 - 681BC, re: the Messiah)

The Lord God said to the house of David, "Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and his name shall be called Emmanuel, which being interpreted means 'God with us'." (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23)

"For a Child is to be born to us, and a Son given to us. The government will be on His shoulder: and His Name shall be called, Wonderful, Counsellor, God - the Mighty, and Father of the world to come, the Prince of Peace. He shall sit upon the throne of David and his kingdom; to establish it and strengthen it with judgement and with justice from henceforth and forever. The zeal of the Lord will do this. He has sent His Word to Jacob (Israel). (Isaiah 9:6-8) His light shall be as a fire, His Holy One, a flame." (Isaiah 10:17)

"The Lord shall go forth as a Mighty Man." (Isaiah 42:13) "I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour. Everyone who calls upon My Name, I have created for My glory, I have formed him, and have made him. I Am, I Am the lord: and there is no Saviour besides Me." (Isaiah 43:3,7,11:) "I am the first, and I am the last, and besides me there is no God." (Isaiah 44:6) "Thus says the Lord God Who inhabits eternity." (Isaiah 57:15; Ex. 3:14; John 8:58)

PROPHECY OF MICAH/MICHEAS

(Born about 750BC. Prophesied 737 - 696BC)

"And you, Bethlehem Ephrata, are a little one among the thousands of Juda: out of you shall He (the Messiah) come forth unto Me that is to be the ruler of Israel: and His going forth is from the beginning, from the days of eternity." (Micah 5:2)

AND THE VIRGIN MAID (Of Genesis 3:15 & Isaiah 7:14) CONCEIVED (Luke 1:26-35) The angel Gabriel was sent from God into a city of Galilee, called Nazareth, to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. And the Angel said to her, "The Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and the power of the Most High shall overshadow you, and the Holy which shall be born of you shall be called 'The Son of God'." And Mary said to the Angel: "Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it done unto me according to thy word." And the Angel departed from her.

AND THE CHILD, NOW A MAN, CAME TO NAZARETH WHERE HE WAS BROUGHT UP: AND HE WENT INTO THE SYNAGOGUE ON THE SABBATH:
The book of the prophet Isaiah was delivered to Him, and He found the place where it was written: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, wherefore He has anointed Me to preach the Gospel to the poor. He has sent me to heal the contrite of heart, to preach deliverance to the captives and give sight to the blind; to set at liberty those who are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of reward." (Isaiah 61:1-2) After which, He said to them, "This day, this Scripture is fulfilled in your ears."

AND LATER, BEFORE HIS ASCENSION TO HEAVEN IN THE SIGHT OF HIS APOSTLES He said to them, " I came forth from the Father, into the world: again, I shall leave the world, and go back to the Father. " (John 16:28) Before leaving, He prayed to the Father, "I have glorified You on earth. I have finished the work you gave Me to do. Now Father, glorify Me with Thyself, with the glory which I had with You, before ever the world was." (John 17:4-5)

FINALLY, HAVING FULFILLED ALL OF THE PROPHECIES REGARDING HIMSELF, HE... "Starting with Moses, and going through all of the prophets, He explained the passages throughout the Scriptures which referred to Himself...all the things which had to be fulfilled, written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the Psalms, concerning Himself. Thus, it is written, the Christ had to suffer, and to rise from the dead on the third day: that penance and remission of sins, in His Name, could be proclaimed to all the nations, (till the end of time - Matthew 28:18-20) beginning at Jerusalem." (Luke 24:27,44-47)

May God's Holy Spirit of Love, be poured forever-overflowing into all of our hearts. Amen.
